Scholarship Cell, MNLU Mumbai

The Scholarship Cell of the University has been functional since 2015 and facilitates the students in securing scholarships offered by the Governments, NGOs or philanthropic agencies.

Types of Scholarships

• a. The Government of Maharashtra: (MAHADBT)
  This facility is provided by the Govt. of Maharashtra to Maharashtra domiciled students. Under this portal various scholarships are available to candidates as per their eligibility.
• b. The Government of Madhya Pradesh - Medhavi Yojana
  This scholarship scheme is being offered by the Madhya Pradesh Government exclusively for MP State domiciled students.
• c. The Government of Rajasthan - Mukhya Mantri Sarvajan Uchha Shiksha Chhatravriti Yojana
  This scholarship scheme is being offered by the Rajasthan Government exclusively for Rajasthan State domiciled students.
• d. National Scholarships Portal (NSP)
  This is a common portal for various Scholarship schemes at all India level for All India Candidates, Minority candidates and Handicapped candidates.
• e. Top Class Education for SC Students
  The Scheme aims at recognizing and promoting quality education amongst students belonging to SCs, by providing full financial support for pursuing higher studies.

Our students have been applying to these scholarships throughout the year and have been receiving scholarships each year as per eligibility. The number of applications are increasing each year and the department successfully handles application checking, verification, forwarding to authorities, fee verification and approval of fee structures.

In addition to government scholarships, students also apply for private and trust-based scholarships such as Kotak Kanya Scholarship, Foundation for Excellence (FFE), and Swadhar Yojana.
