INTRODUCTION
The Post Graduate Diploma in Arbitration and Mediation (PG-DAM) is a one-year, practice-oriented programme offered by the Centre for Arbitration and Research, Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai. The programme is designed to equip students and professionals with contemporary knowledge and practical skills in arbitration, mediation, negotiation, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
RATIONALE
With increasing litigation costs, delays, and adversarial outcomes, arbitration and mediation have emerged as preferred dispute resolution mechanisms globally. India’s policy shift towards ADR and mediation-centric reforms has created strong demand for trained professionals. This programme integrates theory with intensive practical exposure.

Intake Capacity: 30 Limited seats per batch
Admissions are granted on a merit-basis, subject to eligibility criteria.

EXAMINATION AND EVALUATION
Mode: Entirely online, including internal assessments and end-term examinations
Evaluation includes assignments, presentations, practical exercises, role-plays, and a research dissertation
