ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY

Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai, established under the Maharashtra National Law University Act 2014 on 20th March 2014, is one of the premier National Law Universities in India.

The prime goal of the University is to disseminate advanced legal knowledge and processes of law amongst the students and impart in them the skills of advocacy, legal services, law reforms and make them aware and capable to utilize these instruments for social transformation and development. To attain this goal, it has started its first academic endeavor on 1st August 2015.

Located in the pristine Powai region of Mumbai, the University enjoys an un-paralleled avenue for higher studies especially in law and related matters. Hon'ble Shri. Justice Alok Aradhe, Judge of Supreme Court of India is the Chancellor of the University.

AIM OF MNLU MUMBAI LAW JOURNAL

MNLU Law Journal will provide a platform where everyone related to the field of law can contribute their research work on any topic related to law, interdisciplinary studies and help to create a quality open-access platform.

I. Long Articles 3,500 - 10,000 words

Comprehensive and rigorous engagement.

II. Essays / Short Articles 1,200 - 3,500 words

Concise focused.

III. Case Comments 1,200 - 3,500 words

Analysis of judicial pronouncement.

IV. Book Review 1,000 - 3,000 words

Original, impartial review.

He previously served as Pro Vice-Chancellor and Acting Vice Chancellor of SRTM University, Nanded, and as Professor and Head of the Department of Law at Savitribai Phule Pune University. His expertise lies in Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law and Administrative Law.
