Dr. Nanda is a distinguished academic with expertise in Biotechnology Law during her Ph.D. and specialization in Business Law and Science and Technology Law during her LL.M.

Her research focuses on contemporary and interdisciplinary areas including Biotechnology Law, Health and Environment Laws, Medical Law and Family Law related rights of women and children.

She brings together academic rigor with practical litigation experience, having worked as a Practicing Advocate before entering academia. Her approach connects law to real-world problems impacting individuals, organizations and government.

She critically analyzes laws in present situations and identifies loopholes that impact society overall.

Teaching Philosophy

Dr. Nanda’s teaching philosophy is to make students' learning grounded while giving them practical application through a continuous process of teaching-learning connected to day-to-day life.

She incorporates methodologies where students thoroughly apply the law to given problems, using live classroom illustrations. This helps students connect the relevance of law through problem solving and transition from novice to expert thinking to resolve problems under various provisions of law.
